It offers a conductor guard, which is an integral part of the aluminum alloy frame. This allows for the conductor to only come in contact with smooth aluminum surfaces. Should the conductor or pulling line come out of the sheave groove, the smooth contoured conductor guards will guide it back into the sheave groove.
