First they shroud the conduit riser and couple the Plastic U-Guard™ or Steel U-Guard™. Second, they provide a protected air inlet for venting the U-Guard™ riser. This chimney effect venting eliminates the necessity for cable re-rating because of elevated temperatures in the riser. Maximum conduit size 3.5"
